PAPERBYPASS TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective Date: March 2, 2026 Operator: Atom Infinite Pte. Ltd. ("PaperBypass," "we," "us," or "our")

1. INTRODUCTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Thank you for using PaperBypass, an AI-powered research replication and productivity platform operated by Atom Infinite Pte. Ltd. PaperBypass offers services such as AI Code Replication, AI Result Verification, AI Methodology Summary, and Research Knowledge Base (collectively, the "Services").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PaperBypass. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. By accessing or using our Services, you automatically accept and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

2. ACCOUNT AND USER ELIGIBILITY

  • Age Restriction: The Services are not directed to children under sixteen (16) years of age. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any Personal Information on our Site or through any of its features.
  • Minors: If you are between sixteen (16) and eighteen (18) years of age, you must obtain your parent's or legal guardian's consent prior to using the Services.
  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Non-Transferable: Your account is non-transferable. You must not authorize or permit any third party to access or use your account.
  • Business/Commercial Plan Users: Users with an active commercial subscription may use the Services for internal business purposes within the authorized scope specified in their subscription agreement. All other restrictions remain applicable.

3. SERVICES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • License: PaperBypass grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms. Except for authorized commercial plans, the Services may only be used for non-commercial, personal research, and productivity purposes.
  • Usage Purpose Restrictions: The Services are limited to auxiliary purposes such as learning, research reference, inspiration, language polishing, and data organization. Users shall not use the Services for ghostwriting or creating the full text or core content of formal academic works, including but not limited to graduation theses, dissertations, course papers, journal submissions, academic achievements, or competition entries.
  • User Content Ownership: "User Content" means any questions, prompts, files, or information you submit to the Services (e.g., replication queries, research papers, or data). You retain all ownership rights in and to your User Content uploaded or submitted to the Services.
  • Critical AI Model Training Commitment: PaperBypass commits that it will not use your User Content to train or improve the underlying large language models (LLMs) used to provide the Services. We only use your User Content to provide the immediate Service you requested and for reasonable data analysis in an aggregated or de-identified format.
  • Proprietary Rights: All intellectual property rights in the software, technology, designs, trademarks, and content (excluding your User Content) used in the Services belong to PaperBypass or its licensors. You may not use any software, device, or automated process to scrape, copy, measure, analyze, or monitor any part of the Services or content.

4. USER COMMITMENTS

  • Core Content Prohibition: You commit not to use PaperBypass to directly generate the main text, research viewpoints, experimental conclusions, or data interpretations of academic content.
  • Academic Honesty: You commit not to use PaperBypass to forge references, tamper with data, plagiarize, or misrepresent AI-generated content as original work.
  • Review Requirement: You commit not to submit PaperBypass-generated content to schools, journals, or institutions without substantial human review and modification.
  • Disclosure: If you use PaperBypass during the creation of academic works, you must disclose and label such use in accordance with applicable academic standards.
  • Enforcement: If PaperBypass detects or discovers violations of these commitments or any academic misconduct, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate Services and report the activity to relevant institutions.
  • Legal Liability: You shall be liable for any losses (including economic and reputational) incurred by PaperBypass due to your academic misconduct or breach of these commitments.

5. PAID SERVICES, SUBSCRIPTIONS, AND REFUND POLICY

  • Payment Terms: Certain Services are offered on a prepaid, top-up basis requiring the purchase of account balance or credits ("Paid Services"). You agree to pay all fees in accordance with the applicable pricing at the time of purchase. Your payment information is processed securely by our third-party payment providers.
  • Credit Consumption: Credits or account balances are deducted based on your actual usage of the Services (e.g., the volume, complexity, or computing resources required for specific AI replication tasks).
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change the purchase price of credits or the consumption rates for specific Services at any time. Any such changes will be communicated in advance and will only apply to future purchases or future usage. Changes will not retroactively affect tasks that have already been initiated.

6. SPECIAL DISCLAIMER FOR RESEARCH REPLICATION

  • No Guarantee of Accuracy: You understand and acknowledge that AI-generated content (including replication code and verification summaries) may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information.
  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for actions taken based on Service information. You bear all responsibility for any academic misconduct, disciplinary actions, paper retractions, legal disputes, or reputational loss resulting from your use of PaperBypass; PaperBypass assumes no liability in such cases.
  • Academic Integrity: Users are fully responsible for ensuring their use of our replication tools complies with the academic integrity guidelines and policies of their respective institutions or publishers.

7. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Services Provided "AS IS": The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • System Delays: PaperBypass shall not be liable for any delays, failures, losses, or damages resulting from system delays, downtime, interruptions, or other failures outside of our control (including routine maintenance or network failures).
  • Exclusion of Indirect Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PaperBypass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits or lost data).
  • Limitation of Total Liability: In any event, PaperBypass's total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to PaperBypass in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct that is legally compensable.

8. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • Governing Law: The formation, interpretation, and enforcement of these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore (excluding its conflict of law rules).
  • Limitation of Actions: Any cause of action or claim you may have arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues; otherwise, such cause of action or claim is permanently barred.
  • Waiver of Jury Trial and Class Action: To the fullest extent permitted by law, each party hereby waives its right to a jury trial and its right to participate as a member of a class action or in any other class proceeding.
  • Jurisdiction: Any disputes that cannot be resolved by negotiation shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Singapore.

9. OTHER TERMS

  • Changes to the Terms: We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will endeavor to provide prompt additional notice at least one (1) month prior to the date the changes become effective. For non-material changes, we will update the "Last Modified" date.
  • Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, fire, governmental action, strikes, epidemics, or other events of force majeure.
